BOB2K FOOTBALL POOL 2025 WEEK 2 NOTES 1. As we announced before the season started, payouts would be adjusted based upon the number of players. Now that registration has closed, we know that we have 38 players. The new payouts are $100 for each weekly winner with $33 for each weekly upset winner. First place in the season pool will earn $228. Second will get $137 and third will win $91. The rules page on our website has been updated to reflect these numbers. 2. We have a lot of players this year. With many new ones. Please put your pool name in your email someway. Either on the form, in the subject line or in the text of the email. It makes it all go so very quickly when entering up to 608 player (38 players, 16 games) choices into the pool program. 3. We have our first visitor to Reverse Consensus Island. It’s a veteran player: CHEWY. For the new players, Reverse Consensus is determined by the picks made in the pool. Games are ranked first by the number of players that pick a team in each game. Then if there are two or more games with the same number of players picking a team, those are sorted by the total number of points allocated. All picks and points sorting is done based on the pool favorite. The Reverse Consensus player is assigned the pool underdog in each game after they are sorted. The exception is if the assigned pick would change the Upset Pool for the other players. So, CHEWY is assigned the favorite for his 1 point game rather than the underdog to preserve the integrity of the Upset Pool. 4. The rest of you did great! Only one mistaken pick in 37 players. 5.
