BOB2K FOOTBALL POOL 2025 WEEK 1 NOTES 1. Welcome back HC Enterprise’s BOB2K 2025 Football Pool as we start our 35th year! 2. As always, we have some changes. New players include BRET, ELVIS, LAMAR, MATYB, MIKEF, SHAUN and SLIND. Welcome aboard! We have lost ANHAM and CAKES. May the odds be forever in your favor. 3. Our player count is up to 38 this year. Probably a record. An even number in the pool can wreak havoc with Reverse Consensus evaluation. 4. The regular deadline for pick submittal remains WEDNESDAY at Noon ET. The lone exception this year is Week 17 where the deadline is Tuesday, December 23 at Noon ET due to the Christmas holiday. 5. We may wind up with games or weeks cancelled due to many unforeseen, including the wrath of Mother Nature (Canada smoke?). For single games, those will just be eliminated and rescheduled as the NFL does so. If the NFL cancels an entire week, we will cancel as well. We will reschedule as they do (and re-pick if necessary). If the NFL awards a forfeit for any reason, we will NOT count the game in our pool. 6. Our website is still http://www.bob2ksports.com. The total number of times each player would win (or tie for winning) the pool is listed under the "Total" column. The number of times a player ties with another player(s) is listed under the "Ties" column and the percentage of scenarios of the total number is represented under the "Pct" column. Since the Harrity Report is totally lacking in intelligence, it does NOT predict the outcome of the pool. It lists all the teams that "must win" for the player to win the weekly pool. A "must win" is defined as a team winning in 90% or more of the Harrity Report scenarios. For example, if a player has 100 (from the Harrity Report) chances to win, and SF must win in 98% of them, then in 98 of the 100 chances the player has to win, SF wins. If SF loses, the player is reduced to 2 chances to win. (Percentages are rounded up to whole numbers, so 100% may be 99.6 or so.) The Critical Games Report lists the number of matching scenarios and the percentage. Root hard for these teams...unless you like to give money away! If your name doesn't have any games listed next to it, it means you don't have any critical games.
